    Two charged with planning terrorist attack on UK
    LONDON (Reuters) - Two men were charged on Friday under anti-terrorism laws with planning to carry out an attack in Britain, possibly on a hospital, police said.

    Hundreds of vehicles torched in renewed French riots

    AULNAY-SOUS-BOIS, France (Reuters) - Rioters set fire to hundreds of vehicles in an eighth night of unrest in the impoverished suburbs of northeastern Paris as exasperated local officials criticized the response of national leaders.

    BUHRIZ, Iraq (Reuters) - Guerrilla fighters in Iraq mounted a massed dawn assault on a fortified police checkpoint north of Baghdad on Friday, killing six officers and wounding 10, police officials said.

    Anti-govt unrest erupts for fourth day in Ethiopia

    ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - Police shot in the air to disperse protesters in the Ethiopian capital on Friday, witnesses said, in a fourth day of clashes between police and anti-government protesters that have killed at least 42 people.

    BEIJING (Reuters) - China and Vietnam reported major bird flu outbreaks in poultry on Friday, days before global health experts meet to refine plans to control the virus that has killed more than 60 people in Asia and spread to Europe.

Citrus County detectives say Amy Lilley, a 36-year-old vocational teacher at Lecanto High School, admitted to carrying on a two-month relationship with a 15-year-old female student.
